Country Pulao is a Bangalore-based food brand dedicated to bringing the taste of authentic village-style pulaos to urban plates. The brand celebrates the rich diversity of South Indian cuisine by offering a variety of regional pulaos inspired by the traditional flavors of Andhra, Telangana, Godavari, Karnataka, and Kerala. Each recipe is crafted to reflect the essence of its origin — rustic, flavorful, and rooted in heritage. Country Pulao stands for the soulful simplicity of village cooking, reimagined for today’s fast-paced lifestyle while keeping authenticity at its heart.

The task involves developing a complete brand identity for Country Pulao, a specialty pulao brand that celebrates the rustic charm of village-style cooking. The goal is to create a warm, earthy, and authentic look that captures the essence of traditional Indian flavors with a touch of modern simplicity. This includes designing the logo, color palette, typography, and visual elements that reflect the brand’s rural roots and soulful cuisine. The packaging, signage, and in-store aesthetics will follow a cohesive design language that feels natural, wholesome, and inviting—just like the comforting taste of Country Pulao.

We approached the Country Pulao rebranding with a fresh and thoughtful design perspective, aiming to give the brand a new visual identity that feels both modern and rooted. The new color direction, featuring an unexpected yet refreshing blue palette, breaks away from traditional earthy tones while maintaining a sense of warmth and familiarity. The overall design language follows a minimal and effortless approach, ensuring the brand feels clean, premium, and instantly recognizable. Along with the rebrand, we developed cohesive social media visuals and packaging designs that reflect this new identity—simple, striking, and true to the essence of Country Pulao.
